AW55-50 Valve Body

Our AW55/50SN Complete Valve Body is a high-quality remanufactured unit featuring Sonnax upgrades, gaskets, and remanufactured linear solenoids. Every unit is 100% tested to ensure proper shifting and performance. This valve body is compatible with a range of General Motors, Nissan, Saab, Saturn, and Volvo applications.

Important Identification Requirements

To ensure you receive the correct valve body, please identify the following details:

1. Casting Stamp Location:

   • Locate the casting stamp in the circled area on the valve body.
   • Early models have no letter or an “A” stamp.
   • Late models have a “B” or “C” stamp.
   • 

2. S2 Solenoid Type:

   • The S2 solenoid on GM/Saab/Saturn/Suzuki models has a domed top.
   • The S2 solenoid on Volvo/Nissan models has a flat top with four x-shaped ribs.
   • 

3. Check for B5 Spring:

   • Starting in 2005 and later, some valve bodies contain a B5 control valve spring.
   • It is crucial to verify the 10th digit of your VIN. If the 10th digit is 5 or higher, check for a B5 spring under the control valve.
