RE4R01A Valve Body

Our RE4R01A Valve Body is the perfect match for all of your DIY repairs. This valve body is a highly durable, traditional 4-speed built for rear-wheel drive (RWD) and four-wheel drive (4WD) trucks, SUVs, and sports cars, through many different vehicle years and models.

The Solenoid & Connector Configuration. You must look at the harness plug color and the internal solenoids:

• The Early Version (Usually pre-2000): Features 4 or 5 solenoids hooked to a simple internal wire loom that exits the transmission case via a round gray or black plastic multi-pin bulk connector.
• The Late "Pressure Sensor" Version (Usually 2000-up): Features a completely redesigned electrical layout. A key identifier is an integrated oil pressure sensor switch bolted directly onto the valve body frame.

• Short Tube (.125" / 1/8-inch drop): Typified by standard 4-cylinder 2WD pickup trucks.

• Deep/Medium Tube (.900 or .300" drop): Typified by 4WD models (Pathfinders, Xterras) and late-model deep oil pans.
